How to respond?

To batch respond to multiple Issues at a time see:  How to Batch Respond to My Tasks (Multiple Issues at a time)

To reply to one Issue at a time:

  1. Once you are on the Issue transmittal and have an outstanding task, you will see the Respond button at the top right.

(You can skip this step if you came from an Issue Notification email as you are already on the 'Respond to Issue' page)
  2. Next, depending on what your role is, and/or what Issue transmittal you have received a task on, the options you have on the 'Respond to Issue page' may differ.

  3. Complete all relevant fields > tick the 'Selected' box > then, when ready, 'Save and Submit'

NB: Clicking 'Save' will not send the Issue but will store it in the background so you can safely navigate away from the page. When ready, simply navigate back to the Issue in one of the way discussed at the top of this article & begin the numbered steps again.

How to correct a response made?

(If this is configured on your CDE to permit this)

If you make a typo for example and need to revise your response:

  1. Navigate to the Issue again (you may still be on it)
  2. Next to your comment click the Downwards arrow > Revise > proceed as before (step 3 above):
