To use Business Collaborator (BC), you must log in. You will need a web browser and an internet connection.
You may be advised of the BC server address, for example:
- In an email from a server administrator- you may find it useful to add this as a browser Bookmark or Favourite.
- A link on your company intranet page.
To log in
- In a web browser, type in the address of the BC server you are using.
- Click on the "Forgotten your password" button.
- You will be required to provide an email address that is associated with your user on the BC server. For security reasons, the link in this email will only be valid for one hour.
Welcome Page
The first time you log in to BC, you will be directed to the Welcome Page. This is where you will be given an opportunity to change your password. You should reset your password to something secure which you will remember and which only you know. Once this has been done save your details and proceed to the next steps.
On the next, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Page, you must accept the terms and conditions for using this BC server. If you do not accept the terms on this page, you will not be permitted to access any information on the server. You should:
- Read the policy documents
- Tick to accept each of them
- Click Save to progress to the next steps
On the next page- Edit Details- you will be prompted to provide some details about yourself.
