Documents (static revision):
To send individual links to documents, simply ‘Right-Click’ on the name and ‘Copy Link Address’. You can now paste the link to send on to colleagues. Please keep in mind these caveats:
- You must have access to the document (if you do its name will be a blue hyperlink and should have this icon next to it:
- The person you send the link to will also need to have a BC account and already have access to the document.
Documents (dynamic; always latest revision):
- Click on the Down Arrow next to a file name, and go to More Info
- Then go to the Links tab, where you can choose the 'Master Document' option (which is already selected by default) and copy the Secure link
If you need any help or have any questions please email Support with a screenshot & description of the problem.
Search Results:
If you want a colleague to look at the results of a search button you clicked on in BC, please don’t copy the URL from your browser (this link will not work for another user). Instead follow these steps:
- Copy the hyperlink from the Name of the Search/button you clicked on.
- i.e. if you wanted to send someone a link to the ‘3d Models’ example below, ‘Right-Click’ on its name and ‘Copy Link Address’
- i.e. if you wanted to send someone a link to ‘Zones’ button below, simply ‘Right-Click’ on the button and ‘Copy Link Address’
You will then be able to paste your link and send on to whoever needs it.
If you need a specific search built or have trouble accessing a link that has been sent to you, please contact Support ([email protected]) with a screenshot & description of the problem.
